Clunker to frontier
The 30-second promotional film begins on worn Clunker hull detail, reveals the complete ship against an inhabited Earth-like planet, and continues outward. The planet diminishes from view while a full-frame map of 1,400 nearby catalog stars expands, with 24 named highlights. It uses layered, generated marketing artwork. It illustrates the atmosphere and ambition of the game.
The Clunker's approved promotional appearance draws on references from the actual starter ship. The inhabited planet is unnamed promotional scenery. The galaxy backdrop is illustrative.
The named stars
Star labels use real catalog positions from the game's astronomical data, in a Sun-centered orthographic projection at epoch 2026. Label placement is adjusted for readability. Star brightness and subtle pulses provide artistic emphasis. The generated planet and galaxy are not registered to that catalog, and the camera's scale is compressed for the film.

The gameplay gallery
The six gallery images are direct captures of a packaged Mac development build from 12 September 2026. Web delivery uses proportionally resized, compressed copies with their original framing. These show earlier controls and ship art; subsequent development continues to change the game.
The film's visual finish does not establish the current gameplay appearance. Working systems and planned features are described in gameplay updates and the roadmap.
Watching comfortably
Playback starts when you choose to watch. The film begins muted and provides pause, replay, sound, and skip controls. The full frame is preserved during playback. Reduced-motion settings retain a still image until you choose to play. The whole website can be read without playing the film.
Identity and type
The original Frontier Intelligence emblem and vector wordmark are a website identity proposal. Site typography uses Instrument Sans under the SIL Open Font License.
